Privacy policy

DomeID Pty Ltd handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page is the consumer-facing summary; for the full notifiable APP-aligned policy email privacy@domeid.com.au.

What we collect

• Account: email, password, full legal name, phone, address, date of birth.
• Verification: government ID images, selfie, liveness video, AML/PEP results.
• Activity: offers submitted, consents granted, an immutable audit trail.

Why we collect it

To verify your identity, attach a verified status to property offers, support reporting entity obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Amendment Act 2024, and to operate the DomeID service.

Where it lives

All data is stored in Australian regions on encrypted infrastructure. Document scans never leave Supabase or our verification provider.

Your rights

• Access / correction (APP 12 / 13) — self-serve in dashboard settings.
• Export (machine-readable JSON) — self-serve in dashboard settings.
• Deletion — 30-day grace window, then hard-delete.
